Talking about the future

Trong học ngữ pháp tiếng Anh, một trong những thì cơ bản và quan trọng là thì Hiện Tại Tiếp Diễn (Present Continuous). Thì này được sử dụng để diễn tả các hành động đang xảy ra vào thời điểm hiện tại hoặc những kế hoạch sắp xảy ra trong tương lai gần. Trên thực tế, việc hiểu và sử dụng thành thạo thì Hiện Tại Tiếp Diễn không chỉ giúp chúng ta nắm vững ngữ pháp mà còn giúp truyền đạt ý nghĩa một cách chính xác và tự nhiên trong giao tiếp tiếng Anh. Trong phần sau, chúng ta sẽ đi vào chi tiết về ngữ pháp của thì này và các cách sử dụng thông qua ví dụ cụ thể.

1. Ta có thể sử dụng thì hiện tại tiếp diễn để nói về tương lai:

I’m meeting some friends tonight.

Jane is starting a new job next week.

What are you doing next weekend?
